About

Darren Warren - Executive Producer
Growing up in a Las Vegas casino (Circus Circus) Darren's first job was not the standard paper route, but handing out club-pamphlets on the Las Vegas strip. At fifteen he illegally entered into a raffle at the casino and won third place, getting him a brand new video camera. Making movies and experimental videos with his friends, Darren quickly made a name for himself amongst the local bands as the guy who could make compelling music videos.

Over the years Darren had amassed a unique portfolio of projects. Directing and producing videos for bands such as, Whitestarr, The Killers, David Bowie, Jimmy Eat World and a never before seen Prince video.

In 2006 Darren decided to temporarily leave behind directing to take on producing full time.

Laura Feldman - Executive Producer
Laura was born and raised in a small town in Minnesota where she spent her early years watching Mickey Mouse and Goofy cartoons. She dreamed of someday moving to Los Angeles to work for the fabled Disney company and in 2000 she found herself doing just that.

After helping the company launch the first-ever 24-hour soap opera network, SOAPnet, she knew she was ready for a bigger challeng involving "tweens" and joined the Worldwide Brand Strategy division of Disney where she guided the High School Musical franchise to its amazing popularity. As if that wasn't enough, she's also been tasked with making sure Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers are just as huge as High School Musical.

After a lot of nagging, Laura took a lunch meeting with Nick Lentz and Darren Warren where they pitched their idea of VERLAINE as a feature film and a web series. Seeing the project’s potential after viewing the pilot episode, Laura not only agreed to champion the idea around town, but she also hopped on as an Executive Producer at Burbank Movie Company.

Nick Lentz - Writer/Director
Nick Lentz grew up on an active farm in Washington state where his father taught him to grow apples in the soggy-yet-fertile fields of University Place. At a very young age Nick felt an attraction to storytelling and soon started making small movies with his friends in the apple orchards.

Many years later he came to the sad realization that although his movies were full of spirit, they were ultimately crap. So Nick gave up the shooting aspect of movie-making and squarely concentrated on the writing portion of telling stories through the loose medium of screenplays. 5 Years later he emerged in Burbank with a crappy car, no place to live, a few scripts, no connections, and dreams of someday dating moderately attractive actresses.

Past projects: Critter Gitters (series), Poker Royale (FSN), Poker Superstars (FSN), Brighter Living (various news outlets), UFC Wired (FSN)
